Salt (sodium chloride) is crucial for humans. The fixed parameter of the body's sodium and chloride concentrations is so central that various mechanisms work in concert to handle them. Sodium (Na+) and chloride (Cl-) are the primary ions in the liquid present out side the cells (extracellular fluid), which contains blood plasma. As such, they take part in significant roles in numerous life-supporting processes.

Sometimes it is observed that by eating food high in sodium and by certain circumstances that person develops hyponatremia and that is caused due to excessive salt in body. For that purpose low sodium diet must be taken. Low sodium diet can be made by making low sodium recipes and using low sodium foods. Sodium is essential but there must be an organized way to take sodium. Some doctors prescribe daily sodium intake. Sometimes in certain areas water is rich in sodium or there is access of sodium in water. Sodium in water can be removed by using boiled water. Low sodium foods are good for a person with high levels of sodium in body. Low sodium foods can be found every where and table salt must be avoided as it contains a huge amount of sodium in it. Low sodium can lead to healthy life.
At home for daily sodium intake there must be low sodium list that must be checked by your physician. Low sodium food list must be a list that will not lead to sodium deficiency as well as keep sodium level at minimum.
