Cobalt

Cobalt is very essential mineral and it is very much needed for health. Cobalt is a metallic element and it is very much important to be taken in body in sufficient amount to avoid the diseases those can be caused by cobalt mineral deficiency. It is very strong mineral. That is why cobalt is always called cobalt mineral.

Cobalt like all other metals in deeply related to two things one is vitamin b12 and second is calcium. Calcium and cobalt function in body is close relation to each other. It produces hyperplasia of the bone marrow leading to polycythemia. This is brought about by increased erythropoietin synthesis. Cobalt also activates some enzyme.

An excess of cobalt is very toxic and can produce cardiac myopathy, goiter and nerve deafness. Cobalt makes a complex with decrboxylation reactions critical to both pyruvate and fatty acids metabolism; it is eliminated from the body almost by the kidney.

Both elements share right / left-sided cell receptors and are considered essential to human health. Cobalt + Vit B12 relationship is very much documented, so it is very much found in supplements. It is found in combination to provide better health to human being. Cobalt causes vasodilatation and its heavy doses can cause hazards to human health. It can lowers blood pressure and nausea can be felt in this condition of cobalt toxicity.
