B Vitamins

In previous days diseases such as curvy, beri beri, pellagra, and pernicious anemia caused enormous suffering. Early in this 21st century, scientist's begin to recognize stillness caused by the absence of certain vital substances from the diet which is now called vitamins as Vitamin B and vitamin c. it was soon discovered that restoring these vitamins to the diet surprisingly reversed those deficiency diseases if done before significant destruction of the body took place.

The second vitamin to be discovered was designated vitamin b, according to the water soluble substances which can cure beri beri which was initially though to be the single chemical compound but later it was discovered the same compound which can cure many other deficiencies that might result into a conclusion that Vitamin B is not a single compound but it is combination of vitamins so is called B complex vitamin. Vitamin B complex contains all B Vitamins. B Vitamins are b1,b2, b3, b4, b5, b6 and b12.

Vitamin B 12 is needed for metabolizing folate and maintaining the insulation around nerves. Vitamin B 12 deficiency symptoms could be nerve destruction, and a form of anemia. Vitamin B 12 is widely available in animal foods deficient status may be found in elderly, vegans and people with AIDS. Without dietary Vitamin B 12, folate deficiency symptoms such as megaloblasts anemia develop.

All B Vitamins are collectively called Vitamin B complex and this Vitamin B complex has many side effects. Mostly megadoses of different Vitamin B are not suitable for health still it has become necessary to give overdose. Vitamin B complex has side effects like, diarrhea, weakness, numbness of foot and hand and no energy to move.

Vitamin b6 and vitamin b123 are closely related and these have similar functions. Vitamin b6 participates in protein metabolism and neurotransmitters synthesis. and other metabolic functions as well. Foods high in B Vitamins are many and can be found anywhere in any food. It present nearly is all fruits. These are as follows:

Beef liver, baked clams, steamed oysters. Yogurt fortified soy milk. Egg and ham lunch meat.

Vitamin B foods are largely eaten in our daily routine. Vitamin B food must be cooked less and cooked in less moist conditions. Sometimes overexposure to sunlight can degenerate Vitamin B in food as well.


Vitamin B overdose can be bad for health and it can cause diseases as well. But as it is water soluble so in most cases it is not very much hazardous or bad for health. Vitamin B overdose can be very hazardous for health.
